Dan joined the Department of Public Safety in 1998. He received his degrees from Castleton State College (B.A. in Criminal Justice & Sociology) and the State University of New York at Albany (M.A. in Criminal Justice). At Middlebury, he oversees patrol operations and special events and serves as a Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) instructor.

In addition to his work at Middlebury, Dan has been a part-time faculty member at
Castleton State College since 1999
