Battell Hall is divided into three sections: North, Center and South. Due to its large size it is the only building on campus, which is split amongst two commons. It serves as a first year residence hall for both Wonnacott Commons (South and Center) and Cook Commons (North and Center).
Started in 1950 and finished in 1955, Battell Hall was named for Joseph Battell (1839-1915).
