Dana Auditorium is the largest auditorium on campus. It hosts large events such as prominent speakers' lectures (including cognitive scientist and bestselling author Steven Pinker, playwrights Tony Kushner and Adrienne Rich, and gay/AIDS activist Larry Kramer) as well as regular film showings for all students, including Free Friday Film blockbusters and the Language Schools' International Film Festival.

History

Dana was built in 1965, with help from the Charles A. Dana Foundation, as part of the Sunderland Language Center.
