Allen accommodates 96 first-year students. It has four separate floors, a centralized television lounge, and a study lounge. The Commons Office is located in room 153, on the first floor, just off the central foyer.

History

Allen Hall was built in 1963 of slate from Fair Haven Vermont, is named for Cecile Child Allen, the wife of George H. V. Allen '49 and treasurer of the College for many years.
