Coffrin is a residence hall that is part of Atwater Commons. home to mostly singles, as well as a laundry facility and a large kitchen.

History

Coffrin was once known as the "barns" due to its gambrel-roofed pattern, reminiscent of classic dairy barns, and also as reference to Edward Larabee Barnes, a world-renowned architect and the building's designer. It was built in 1986, under the original name of North Hall. It was later renamed after Albert W. Coffrin, a longtime Trustee.
