March 17: : Bread Loaf Citizens' Race     

A crisp, sunny but windy day accompanied 40 skiers out of the mass start area and on to the Tormondsen Family Race Trail for the Annual Bread Loaf Citizens' Race.

In the 4.6K race, the Overall Women's Skate winner was Suzanne Calhoun in 20:38. The overall Men's Skate winner was Garrott Kuzzy in 18:17 - the top finisher for the day.  In the Classical division, Renate Adamowicz finished her first-ever race in first place with a time of 32:38. On the Men's side, the overall winner was Bill McKibben with a finish time of 22:28.

Five intrepid youngsters braved the winds and circumnavigated the Lollipop Race in record time. They were awarded the ever-popular lollipop, a balloon and a Rikert bell as they crossed the finish line:  Erin Geisler, Peter Arvold, Silas Gulley, Elsa Klein and Zoe Klein.    Hiya, Hiya!

March 30: Rikert Random Relays and Bob's Birthday Bash  - Join our End-of-the-Season fun! Totally Random Relays - register and then teams will be drawn at random, course may be random; each leg may be random- Classic and Skate; Random Tandem Relay race; prizes, fun, food; 9:30 registration, 10:30 start; $5.00 entry
