Bennett Konesni '05, a double major in Environmental Studies and Music—as well as a fiddler and organic gardener—has embarked on a year of postgraduate study and travel, thanks to a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship. His Watson project is titled, " 'Haul Away, Joe': Exploring Musical Labor of the Land and Sea," and it will take him to The Netherlands, Germany, Ghana, Tanzania, Vietnam, Switzerland, Mongolia, and Italy.
Konesni, who's from Appleton, Maine, has agreed to file reports for the College's web site during his Watson year, to keep us all up to date on where he is, and what he's doing. You'll find them here, with the most recent reports first.
