Women's Soccer With NESCAC Win Over Tufts

Middlebury (5-4-2) won its third game in its last four contests as the Panthers earned a 3-1 NESCAC victory over Tufts on Dragone Field. The Jumbos, who had allowed just three goals in seven games prior to today, including six shutouts, fall to 6-2 on the season.

Men's Soccer With 14th Shutout In Last 17 Games

Middlebury improved to 7-0-1 on the season as they picked up a 2-0 shutout victory over Tufts in NESCAC play. The Panthers are now riding a 17-game unbeaten streak dating back to last season, including 14 shutouts in that span, while boasting a 14-0-1 mark on its new Field Turf surface. The Jumbos lose for the third time in their last four games, moving to 5-4-1 on the year.

Field Hockey Falls To Tufts In OT

Tamara Brown scored just 3:31 into overtime to lift Tufts to a 3-2 NESCAC win over Middlebury on Kohn Field. The seventh-ranked Jumbos remain undefeated at 9-0 on the season, while the third-ranked Panthers fall to 7-2.

Women's Volleyball Falls at Colby-Sawyer

Middlebury dropped a lengthy five-set match at Colby-Sawyer on Friday night, with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 22-25, 11-25, and 15-13. With the win, the Chargers improve to 15-8, while Middlebury falls to 7-7.

Rayner Earns NESCAC Honors

Middlebury College football player Matt Rayner (Andover, Mass.) has been named the NESCAC Special Teams Player of the Week.. The rookie wide receiver scooped up a blocked punt and carried it 18 yards for the touchdown to give the Panthers a 14-7 lead over Amherst. The Panthers went on to win the game 31-14 to move to 2-1 on the season.
