MiddAction Fair Sept. 20 gives students
a chance to connect with community
MIDDLEBURY, Vt.—Middlebury College's Alliance for Civic Engagement (ACE) hosts its annual MiddAction Fair on Tuesday, September 20, from 6-7:30 p.m. in the McCullough Social Space.
ACE invites students, faculty, and staff to join them to learn about activism, social justice, service learning, and volunteering in the areas of education/literacy, environment, emergency services, homelessness, hunger, public health, and youth mentorship.
The MiddAction Fair, says Meredith Billings, AmeriCorps and VISTA poverty programming assistant for ACE, is "a great way to become involved in your community and meet local non-profits."
