Raffle Incentives

Please note that if you are a new contributor or if you have increased your contribution this year, your name will be entered into these raffles two times, instead of just once!

Early Bird Special

College employees who complete their on-line pledge or return their pledge card to either the payroll department or the United Way of Addison County office by 5:00pm on Friday, October 24th will be eligible for one of the following prizes, in addition to the ones listed for ALL contributors below:

  • One of three gift certificates for a pair of tickets to an event at the Mahaney Center for the Arts
  • One of two "one day" adult passes to the Snow Bowl
  • One sweatshirt of his/her choice at the College Bookstore
  • One of four "coffee card," each worth eleven free cups of coffee, contributed by Dining Services and redeemable anywhere they serve coffee
  • One free lunch (including sandwich, dessert and beverage) at the Wilson Cafe in the new library, also provided by Dining Services

End of Year Raffle:

All College employees who complete their on-line pledge or return their pledge card to either the payroll office or the United Way of Addison County office by 5:00pm on December 1st are eligible for one of the following prizes for use during the 2008-2009 year:

  • One of four separate greens fees plus a cart for the Ralph Myhre Golf Course.
  • One of three individual season passes for the Middlebury College Snow Bowl.
  • One family season pass for the Rikert Ski Touring Center.
  • One individual membership for the Rikert Ski Touring Center.
  • One of three gift certificates for a pair of tickets to an event at the Mahaney Center for the Arts.
  • One of five $25 gift certificates for the Middlebury College Store.
  • One of ten $10 gift certificates from Dining Services for the Grille/Juice Bar, the Wilson Cafe (in the new library), Rehearsals Cafe, the Ralph Myhre Golf Course Snack Bar, the Snow Bowl Snack Bar, or the Redfield Room.
  • One new men's watch, donated anonymously (Tissot PRS516 Automatic Large Leather Strap Watch, Black Dial, Sport Style, Value $435.00).

To be eligible for the end of the year raffle, you must be a Middlebury College employee and your pledge card or on-line donation must be received by the payroll department or the United Way office no later than December 1, 2008! Thank you!

I support the United Way because I believe in community. We are fortunate to live in a wonderful community. Caring for that community is important. As we each take a part in that caring, we all benefit....as givers and as receivers. One never knows when we may need to be a receiver but we can all decide when to be givers.
