Sarah Bzdega '05, an English major, wrote a series of front-page pieces in the Addison Independent this spring on the effects of the No Child Left Behind Act on small rural Vermont schools. Sarah wrote these stories as part of an independent study with Sue Halpern, scholar in residence in English. Most of her pieces have been on the front page, and she has also written for the editorial page.
