The BioBus has finished its latest journey but continues to make news. On Sunday, Jan. 30, a columnist for the Albuquerque Journal wrote about the benefits of biodiesel fuel in a piece titled "Mexico: Take Lesson From Taos." The column mentioned that New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson--a former secretary of energy, supporter of alternative fuels, and biodiesel fan--said he had never heard of biodiesel and using recycled vegetable oil as roadway fuel until he came to Middlebury to deliver the 2003 commencement address, after which the first BioBus trip began.
