In a USA Today article, "Fame keeps on following Sheehan," June 30, Bobo Sheehan '44, golfer Patty Sheehan's father, who was a Middlebury football coach, is mentioned. See the article here.

There were several paragraphs that mentioned Middlebury's Arabic School and Arabic program in an article that ran in the Mar. 14 edition of USA Today.  The story appeared in the Life section and was titled "Arabic Language is in Demand."  The text is on the paper's Web site at http://www.usatoday.com/news/education/2005-03-13-arabic-language_x.htm.

In the Feb. 17 edition of USA Today, an article about USA Today's 2005 All-USA College Academic Team states that Dena Simmons '05 has been named to the third team.  There are three teams as well as honorable mentions.  Dena is described as the co-founder of MIX, a cultural outreach program in Vermont elementary schools, and a Truman Scholar.  The article is in the Life section and Dena is mentioned on page 8D.
