In the online edition of U.S. News and World Report on Dec. 8, an article titled "A Consumer's Guide to Becoming Carbon Neutral" mentions the Middlebury College ski teams as a leading example of how to invest in carbon offsets. The text of the article is available online.

Middlebury College Assistant Professor of Economics Casey Rothschild was quoted in a Nov. 3 article in U.S. News & World Report titled "Should You Annuitize Your Retirement Savings?" The article is available online.

Middlebury College is ranked 5th in the 2007  U.S. News & World Report rankings of liberal arts colleges, which were released August 18.

Middlebury was 8th in the 2006  rankings.
