Scholar-in-Residence in Environmental Studies Bill McKibben and several Middlebury students and alumni received extensive coverage relating to the "Step It Up 2007" campaign to raise awareness of global warming, which was celebrated in more than 900 communities nationwide on April 14.  ABCNews.com covered the protests and quoted McKibben on April 14.  The article is available online.
