An Oct. 31 Associated Press article titled "Town Sets Immigrant Farm Worker Policy" included a quote from Associate Professor of Spanish Gloria Estela Gonzalez-Zenteno. The article appeared on ABCNews.com and other national media, and is available online here.

On Oct. 28 an Associated Press article appeared in several media, including Boston.com, about the renovated Hillcrest Environmental Center. The article, titled "19th-Century Farmhouse Gets Green Makeover: Building Turned Into Paean To Sustainability," is available online here.

The Associated Press covered the launch of the Middlebury Initiative on Oct 11.  The article also appeared in the print edition of the Boston Globe on Oct. 12 as an item in the "New England in Brief" column on page B2. The article is available online.

A Sept. 22 Associated Press article titled "College gets Hemingway archive" appeared in several regional and national newspapers, including USA Today. On Sept. 13, an Associated Press article titled "Middlebury retracts logo" appeared in the online version of Business Week, ABCNews.com, MSNBC and other national media. On Sept. 2, an Associated Press article reported the recent success of Professor of Biology Sallie Sheldon's work with weevils and Eurasion milfoil.  The article was picked up by Boston.com and is available online.

Scholar-in-Residence in Environmental Studies Bill McKibben and several Middlebury students and alumni received coverage in the April 14 edition of Associated Press relating to the "Step It Up 2007" campaign to raise awareness of global warming, which was celebrated in more than 900 communities nationwide on April 14. The article, titled "Global Warming Protests Begin Saturday" is available online

An Associated Press article on March 27 titled "What are Carbon Offset Programs?" mentions the Middlebury College Ski Team and its efforts to purchase carbon offsets. The article, which appeared on Forbes.com, AOL.com and in numerous regional newspapers, is available online.

Middlebury College was mentioned in the media several times following Vermont's statewide town meetings.  An Associated Press article titled "Vermont Voters Debate Iraq War" appeared on March 7 in several national papers, including the Los Angeles Times, the Houston Chronicle, the Boston Globe, the Washington Times and the Washington Post.
