According to a transcript of Clinton's Nov.7 speech in Chicago, this is what he said when he mentioned Middlebury among the other participating schools that were not represented on stage: "...Middlebury College, where I gave the commencement address earlier this year and saw the results of their amazing environmental efforts in a climate that at least right now is very cold. On April 12, an article titled "Real Pay Increases for Professors" in Inside Higher Ed noted that the national "average full-time faculty salary for 2006-2007 climbed 3.8 percent, outpacing the inflation rate of 2.5 percent during 2006 and giving professors a 'real' raise, according to a study released today by the American Association of University Professors."
