Middlebury's past honorary degree recipient Meryl Streep was mentioned as an example of colleges awarding honorary degrees to celebrities.  

On April 14, an article titled "A Rare Performance Review Do-Over" about Assistant Professor of Sociology Laurie Essig appeared in Inside Higher Ed.

The annual Inside Higher Ed article titled "Faculty Salaries and Priorities" appeared on April 14 and listed Middlebury at number nine in "Top 10 Liberal Arts Colleges in Average Salary for Full Professor."

The March 18 edition of Inside Higher Ed included an article titled "Quick Takes: Quidditch Spring Break" that mentioned the Middlebury quidditch team and its scheduled games at colleges throughout spring break.
