On April 3, an article titled "Bad News U: Colleges Reject Record Numbers" appeared in the Wall Street Journal and mentioned Middlebury's February admissions program.

The Jan. 24 edition of the Wall Street Journal included a brief mention of Middlebury College in an article titled "Architectural Conservation Comes to College Campuses."

The Jan. 22 edition of the Wall Street Journal included an article titled "More Students Head Overseas In Freshman Year," which mentions Middlebury and its February admission program.

On Jan. 19, an article in the Wall Street Journal titled "The New American Gentry: Wealthy folks are colonizing rural areas, bringing cash, culture -- and controversy" included a quote from Associate Professor of Geography Pete Nelson.

On Jan. 3, the online version of the Wall Street Journal "Evening Wrap" column included a mention of William Harris, a professor emeritus of classics at Middlebury College and an article he wrote about the origin of the word "caucus."
