Casey Rothschild is an assistant professor of economics at Middlebury College. He joined the faculty in 2006 and teaches courses on macroeconomic theory, public finance and political economics.
His current research interests include public economics, such as annuity markets, Social Security reform and optimal taxation, as well as microeconomic theory.
His work has been published in The Journal of Economic Theory, the National Bureau of Economics Research Working Papers series and Geophysical Research Letters.
Rothschild graduated from Princeton University and received his doctorate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
