Erin Quinn is the director of athletics at Middlebury College, as of July 2006. Before that, Quinn was head coach of the men’s lacrosse team and assistant coach of football.

Under Quinn’s direction, the men’s lacrosse program amassed an amazing 202-38 career record. Quinn’s .842 winning percentage is second among his peers in the history of Division III lacrosse. He led the team to 10 NCAA tournament appearances in 11 years, while capturing all six NESCAC championships. His teams won three straight NCAA championships in 2000, 2001 and 2002, while setting a school record with 18 wins in 2002. He also led the team to ECAC championships in 1992, 1995 and 1997.

He is a five-time winner of the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Division III Coach of the Year award. He also earned NESCAC coach of the year honors in 2004. He was elected to the New England Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2003. Quinn is nationally respected as an advocate for the growth of lacrosse and has been a sought-after clinician and speaker. Quinn is involved with several local charities, volunteering time as well as fundraising.

Quinn is a 1986 graduate of Middlebury College, where he was a member of the football team, captaining the squad his senior year.
