Women's Hockey Wins At Colby

Middlebury earned a NESCAC road win as the Panthers scored twice on the power play on its way to a 2-1 win over Colby at Alfond Rink. Middlebury held a 33-11 shots advantage in the game and will return to action at Bowdoin on Saturday.

Castleton Tops Men's Hockey

Castleton picked up its first win in five tries against Middlebury as the Spartans earned a 2-1 win over the Panthers in Kenyon Arena. Middlebury returns to action on Saturday when they host Skidmore, while Castleton visits Williams. The Spartans held a 21-19 shots advantage on the night.

Men's Basketball Wins Seventh Straight

Middlebury outscored Colby-Sawyer 44-27 in the second half on its way to a 65-55 road win over the Chargers. The Panthers shot a red-hot 55% from the floor as they won their seventh straight to improve to 11-2 on the season.

Women's Basketball With Road Loss At Colby-Sawyer

Middlebury found itself on the short end of a 59-53 game at Colby-Sawyer on Thursday night. The Chargers outshot the Panthers 21-9 on the free throw line, while the Panthers scored 22 points of Colby-Sawyer turnovers.

More Post-Season Football Honors - Kelly Earns All-American Honors

Three members of the Middlebury College football team have garnered post-season accolades. Senior Brendan Kelly (Niskayuna, N.Y.) was named a third-team All-American by D3 Football.com, while seniors Andrew Matson (Coventry, R.I.) and Charles Holm (Longmeadow, Mass.) earned All-ECAC honors. The threesome helped lead the Panthers to a 5-3 season, with sole possession of third place in the final NESCAC standings.
