Student researches 8,000-year-old lake core sample to shed light on climate change
Middlebury College junior Lilly Corenthal is working with geology professor Jeff Munroe on climate change research. Their work focuses on an 8-thousand-year-old core sample taken from Upper Lake Kintla in Glacier National Park, Montana that could shed light on the alarming speed at which glaciers are receding.
