Women's Golf Finishes 14th At NCAA's

The Middlebury women's golf team finished the 2008 NCAA Championship in 14th place, with a 1,315, at +163. The Panthers improved their score for the first three days, while shooting a 329 on the final day of the tournament. Methodist continued its domination of D3 women's golf, winning the title with a 1,219.

Men's Tennis Individuals In Action At NCAA's

Individuals from the Middlebury men's tennis team are taking part in the NCAA Championships at Bates. In the first round of singles play on Friday, Filip Marinkovic picked up an impressive win over the #2 ranked player in the country, Andy Bryan of Gustavus Adolphus. After dropping the first set 6-4, Marinkovic tied the match with a 6-2 win in set #2. The third set went to a tie-breaker, as Marinkovic came away with a 7-6 (3) victory. Andrew Lee was also a first-round winner, picking up a 7-5, 6-4 win over Mark Boren of Emory. With the victories, both players earn All-American status.

Men's Tennis Drops Final Match Of The Season

The Middlebury men's tennis team played its final match of the season as they lost a heartbreaker to Claremont by a final score of 5-4 in the NCAA third-place match. The Panthers end their season with an 18-7 record with their sixth straight trip to the NCAA semifinals.

Lefeber & Shimrock Earn NESCAC Honors

Senior Nick Lefeber (Branford, Conn.) and junior Mark Shimrock (Lansdale, Pa.) have both been named to the All-NESCAC second-team. The duo were part of a Middlebury team that won 14 games this season, against 16 losses, including a solid 8-6 mark on the road.

Men's Lacrosse Falls At Cortland In NCAA Quarterfinals

Middlebury saw its season come to an end with an 11-10 overtime loss at Cortland in an NCAA quarterfinal match-up. Adam Hyde scored with 39 seconds remaining in overtime to lift the #2 Cortland to the win against #8 Middlebury. The Red
Dragons improved to 17-1 with their 13th straight win and advance to the national semifinals where they will host Ithaca. The Panthers end their season with an impressive 13-3 mark.

Men's Tennis Set For NCAA Championship Week - Follow Live Scoring!

The Middlebury College men’s tennis team will make its sixth consecutive trip to the NCAA Quarterfinals after defeating Trinity 5-1 in an NCAA Regional Final on campus. The Panthers will take on Mary Washington of Fredericksburg, Virginia on Tuesday, May 13th at noon. Matches will be held at the Wallach Tennis Center on the campus of Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. The team championships will take place from the 13th-15th, while the individual titles will be crowned from the 16th-18th.
