The College owns a large selection of audiovisual material, which may be used for classroom purposes.  If you wish to buy or rent films or videos, you should consult your Department Chair.  Patty Hornbeck, in Library and Information Services at the Library will help you acquire what you need.  If you do not know exactly what you want or what is available, you can access and search the catalog of our holdings in MIDCAT, the online catalog. (Limiting the search to visual materials may be helpful).

The Media Services pages offer information on services and facilities, including online film, video, sound effects, language lessons and lecture archives, as well as current copyright information.

If you have questions about procedures or circulation policy in the library, you can call the Library Information Desk at ext. 2000.  For questions about audio and video equipment for classrooms, training and technical support in classrooms with installed technology and repair of A/V equipment, please contact Dean Cadoret, Director of Media Services, at ext. 2238.

The art department slide collection is located on the fourth floor of the Johnson Building, room 407.  Slides of works of art may be borrowed for classroom purposes for a period of twenty-four hours. Please contact the Slide Curator, Megan Battey (ext. 5233) for further information or check out the slide collection's website.
