French Language and Literature
The Department of French seeks applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship beginning Fall 2010. Preferred areas of specialization: 17th and/or 18th-century literature and cultural studies. The successful candidate will teach courses in French language and literature. Applicants must have native or near-native command of French and must have completed all PhD requirements by August 2010. Candidates should provide evidence of commitment to excellent teaching (including language) and scholarly potential.
