The Economics Department has a tenure track opening at the rank of assistant professor (PhD) or instructor (ABD) beginning September 2010 in the area of international and/or development economics. The ideal candidate would contribute to, and be affiliated with, the College's International Politics and Economics program. Please use TTID on correspondence.
Candidates must demonstrate commitment to research and teaching excellence in a liberal arts environment. Send curriculum vitae, graduate transcripts, three letters of recommendation, at least one piece of scholarship, statement of teaching philosophy and, if available, teaching evaluations. The deadline for completed applications for both positions is November 27, 2009. Interviews will be conducted at the ASSA conference in Atlanta.
