October 2005: Students elected to Phi Beta Kappa

Twelve members of Middlebury's Class of 2006 have been elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa. Election to Phi Beta Kappa after just three years is among the highest academic honors Middlebury confers on its students. This year's inductees, whose names were announced at fall convocation and who are to be honored at an induction ceremony in October 2005:
