Bread Loaf does not defer admission, but first-time applicants who were accepted for a previous summer but who did not attend Bread Loaf, may reactivate their initial application by submitting a new application form (not a re-enrollment form).
They will not be required to pay the application fee again and, if they reapply within two years of the initial application (the Bread Loaf office keeps such applications on file for two years only), they will not be required to resubmit supporting application materials.
They will be considered for admission along with other new applicants, beginning January 15 through May 15. Because the applicant pool changes from year to year, acceptance in one year does not guarantee acceptance in another year.
