Summer 2008
Beginning in 2008, students can also complete the M.A. in a series of summer sessions on the Vermont campus and one summer in our new program hosted by the University of Poitiers, France. This program is open to M.A. students in their second, third or fourth summer, as well as to DML students, for whom this summer in France can count as part of their residency requirement.
The French School Summer Program in Poitiers is offered exclusively to MA and DML students who have already completed their MA or DML summer of candidacy on our campus in Vermont. Courses in Poitiers are taught by faculty from the Middlebury French School and faculty from the Université de Poitiers.
