Ignacio Corona is Associate Professor at the Spanish and Portuguese Department of The Ohio State University. He is the author of Después de Tlatelolco: las narrativas políticas en México (1976-1990), Un estudio de sus estrategias retóricas y representacionales (Universidad de Guadalajara, 2001), and co-editor of Postnational Musical Identities: Cultural Production, Distribution, and Consumption in a Globalized Scenario (Rowman & Littlefield, 2008) and The Contemporary Mexican Chronicle: Theoretical Perspectives on the Liminal Genre (SUNY Press, 2002). He has also published articles on Latina/o American cultural studies in journals and magazines in Mexico, Europe, Latin America, and the United States.
