Eva Núñez Méndez
Eva Núñez Méndez,
from Spain, is Associate Professor of Spanish at Portland State University in Oregon. She completed her Ph.D. at the Universidad de Salamanca, Spain. She has taught linguistics, literature, and translation courses at various universities both in Europe and the United States, including Middlebury College (Vermont), the University of Houston (Texas), Hope College (Michigan), the National University of Ireland (Galway), and the University of Portsmouth (England). Her fields of research focus primarily on theoretical linguistics and on applied linguistics (language acquisition, text analysis, and translation). She has published a book in Spanish phonetics and several articles in theoretical linguistics. She is currently working on a manuscript for Edwen Mellen Press.
