By accepting the information below, I agree to the following understandings and borrowing conditions for an Apple iPod at Middlebury College:
- The iPod must be returned to the circulation desk by the due date specified
- I will be responsible for the iPod and its components. Should I fail to return the iPod and related equipment, I will pay a replacement charge of:
- iPod $400
- Earphones $ 35
- AC Adapter/Charger $ 45
- USB or FireWire cable $ 25/each
- iTalk $ 30
- iBooklet $ 5
- I am solely responsible for this iPod and its replacement or repair should it become damaged, lost, or stolen.
- I agree to return this iPod directly to a staff member at the Circulation Desk and wait until the iPod has been checked and all accessories are accounted for.
LIS and Middlebury College disclaim all warranties, including all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Neither LIS nor Middlebury College shall be liable to a user or any other person for any loss or damage of any kind related to configuration and operation of any computing equipment, including but not limited to, out-of-pocket expenses, consequential damages, inconvenience, loss of data, loss of profits, loss of use, emotional stress, physical injury, or damage to software or hardware.
