The Liaison Program is an LIS outreach initiative, which designates a technology specialist and a librarian as LIS representatives for each academic department.

Liaison responsibilities include:
- Library Collection Development
- Research Classes and Assistance
- Research Consultations
- LIS Updates for Faculty
- Support for Web pages, Segue, digitization, and other technology projects
Liaisons are available to help you plan projects involving technology or the library. They will also try to stay informed of developments within academic departments, so LIS will be able to provide research and technological support, as needed. However, their contacts with a department are not intended to address emergencies.
