Materials in the library circulate to anyone having a Middlebury College ID or Guest Borrower Card. The Guest Borrower Card may be obtained from the Main Library for a modest fee. All items may be renewed in person or by telephone before they are overdue. When materials are expected to receive heavy use, they are placed on reserve. Some materials may also be available on electronic reserve.
Items that are checked-out may be recalled at any time. All overdue materials must be returned before additional any materials can be checked-out. Please click here to see the Borrower Loan Periods and Replacement Charges.
