Any questions concerning music may be brought to the Information and Reference Desk or questions may be sent by e-mail by selecting "Information and Reference" from the table in the Staff section below. The Music Library is prepared to help locate information or materials related to music in the College's collection or in other collections and databases. Students may request specialized assistance relating to a thesis or term paper by contacting the Music Librarian. Likewise, faculty may request a class presentation from the Music Librarian to prepare students for term papers, research, or other instruction which makes use of the Music Library.
The staff also prepares reference guides to the Music Library collection and internet resources relating to music.
Library materials not available at Middlebury College may be obtained from other institutions through inter-library loan. Information about this and other services can be obtained at the reference desk. There are inter-library loan forms available at the reference desk and on-line for books, articles, and printed music.
