Gingerbread House time is upon us once more! And this is the 10th Anniversary, no less!

From December 5 through 21, 2008 the Vermont Folklife Center will host our 10th Annual Gingerbread House Exhibition and Competition. VFC Exhibitions :: The Golden Cage: Mexican Migrant Workers and Vermont Dairy Farmers

The Vermont Folklife Center is pleased to announce the opening of The Golden Cage: Mexican Migrant Workers and Vermont Dairy Farmers, an exhibition of photographs, text, and audio—in Spanish and English—that explores the relationships between farmers and Mexican workers on dairy farms in Addison County.

The Golden Cage will be on display September 6th through December 18th in the Vision and Voice Documentary Workspace at the Vermont Folklife Center’s headquarters in Middlebury. We will host host an opening reception for the exhibit on Friday, September 19th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. :: link
