New links for article citations

MIDCAT, JSTOR, ScienceDirect, Interlibrary Loan, or…? Previously it's been hard to decide where to go for an article when you find a citation but no full text. Now when you're doing research in a journal index such as MLA, Web of Science, or Academic OneFile, you'll have some help from us.

Full-Text at Midd is a service we've plugged in to most of our major indexes that will link you to an article regardless of where it resides. For each citation you retrieve it will look for online and print subscriptions at Middlebury, and if it finds any then it will provide a link that goes directly to the article (for online) or to a MIDCAT record with a call number (for print). It also will search for subscriptions in the NExpress consortium, so if we don't have the article and it's available through NExpress then you'll be able to get it quickly. Finally, if the article isn't available in NExpress then we'll process your request through regular Interlibrary Loan.
