Exam Period by the numbers
From December 2 through December 17, the Main Library extended its hours to stay open day and night for students studying for end-of-semester projects and exams. If you were there, you were among many of your peers. Between the hours of 1 a.m. and 7 a.m., when the library usually is closed, we counted an average of 101 students in the library each hour, with a peak of 156 students at 1 a.m. on Friday December 7—before exam period even began. We keep statistics like these to determine how our services are meeting your needs. We hope that we were a good home-away-from-dorm for you during one of your busiest times of the year!
