MIIS Library
The mission of the MIIS library is to support teaching, research and public services of the Monterey Institute of International Studies, an affiliate of Middlebury College located in Monterey, California. The library's specialized international collection has 100,000 volumes, more than 600 print periodical and 35 newspaper subscriptions. One third of the collection is in languages other than English. The library also subscribes to over 50 online databases as well as over 400 online academic journals and 2 international digital newspaper collections.
The MIIS affiliation with Middlebury College has significantly enhanced library services. Because of this affiliation, the MIIS Library is able to support student coursework and research with Electronic Reserves, Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery through OCLC, and access to a shared collection of over 15,000 electronic books as well as databases like NBER Working Papers and Source OECD.
