Print Release Stations at the Libraries
Beginning on Monday, June 8: To manage our environmental impact and control costs, when you are at the library, you will have to confirm your print job at a print release station.
This will:
- allow you better control over where and when you print
- reduce printing of thousands of unnecessary and duplicate pages, and
- increase the availability of printers as a results of timely printing
Send your print job to a specific printer, then go to the print release station adjacent to that printer to select the documents and either cancel the request or release it for printing.
Guest Printing
We continue to welcome guests to our libraries. Because of rising use and increasing costs, and in order to implement the release station syste, guests are now required to pay for printing via a personal PaperCut account. When you ask for the password of the day, if you expect to use College printers, please take a moment to ask how to use the PaperCut system.
