By borrowing this laptop and accepting the agreement below I agree to the following borrowing conditions for laptop computers at Middlebury College:

The laptop is due 4 hours from the time of check out

I understand that I may NOT install or download my own software

I will save my documents to the server or other location frequently

The hard drive will return to its original state EVERY time the computer is rebooted & all files saved on the hard drive will be lost.

I understand that the clock at the Circulation Desk will be used to determine the due time of this laptop

I will be responsible for paying a $ 2000 replacement charge for theft, loss or damage to this laptop

I am entirely responsible for this laptop and its replacement or repair should it become damaged, lost, or stolen

I agree to return this laptop directly to a staff member at the Circulation desk and wait until the laptop has been checked and all accessories are accounted for.

Irresponsible use of this laptop may result in the loss of borrower privileges
