Windows 2000 users who use Outlook Calendar
We recommend printing your calendar for the next 3 weeks (March 11th - April 1st) before making any adjustments! If you have a Windows 2000 computer and use Outlook calendar, you should download and run the following patch: http://community.middlebury.edu/~helpdesk/downloads/dstfix.msi
If you're not sure which version of windows you are running: - click on Start -> Run type winver and click OK. The box that comes up will tell you the version of windows that you're running
After the patch is installed, you will need to reboot your computer for the changes to take effect.
This will update your computer so that is knows when the new DST period begins and ends. Any appointments that you had previously created that fall in the new DST period (March 11th - April 1st) will most likely appear to be one hour later after you apply this patch. You will need to adjust these appointments to their correct time (this is where your printed calendar will come in handy.)
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us.
