The Edit Console is the primary tool used to perform editing functions to the content in the CMS.  CPs are encouraged to attend CMS Workshops to learn how to use the Edit Console to manage content in the CMS.  If you would like to attend a CMS Workshop, please contact: helpdesk@middlebury.edu.

The Edit Console can be collapsed by double-clicking the words "Edit Console".  The Edit Console can also be dragged anywhere on the screen.  If you don't see your edit console, you are either not logged in, or do not have permissions to edit in that area of the CMS.

Be careful to understand the functionality of each option in the Edit Console before clicking it.  If a CP is unclear as to the purpose of a particular item in the Edit Console, please first consult this Web Helpguide.  If the answer is not found, contact the Helpdesk at ext. 2200 or helpdesk@middlebury.edu.
