Sometimes the order in which the pages containing content appear does not reflect the order that you want them to appear in the left navbar. To fix this:
- Go to the channel that you want to sort and log on
- Switch to Edit Mode
- Click on Sort Items in Channel; a new window will open
- Click the corresponding radio button to the page you want to move and click either Up or Down (these options appear to the right of the page listing)
- When finished organizing, press OK at the bottom of the page listing
You likely will see a message indicating "The page cannot be refreshed without resending the information. Click Retry...".
- Click Retry and you will see your changes reflected in the navigation bar.
Depending on how a channel has been set up, changes in the sort order may not be reflected if channels are also displayed at the top level. Contact the Helpdesk to request that Web Services adjust the sort_override property for the particular channel.
