Off Campus Job Description
Creating an Off Campus Job Posting
Step 1: Navigating to the Location of the Posting
- Open Internet Explorer
- Go to the Off Campus Jobs channel
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Log On
- Enter your username and password and click Logon
Step 2: Adding a Job Description Posting
- If you are viewing a specially formatted list of Off Campus Job Descriptions, click Create New Page in the Edit Console and go to step 6.
- Click Create New Page (Choose Template) in the Edit Console
- Expand 0506 Templates
- Click SEO
- Click the Select icon to the right of Off Campus Job Posting
- Check the check box to the right of Work Study if this position qualifies for Work Study funding
- Enter a description of the hours for this job in the Hours text box
- Enter the wage for the job in the Wagetext box
- Enter a detailed description of the job in the Job Descriptionedit window
- Enter a detailed list of qualifications in the Qualificationsedit window
- Under contact information:
- To the right of Name enter the full name of the person the student should contact about this job
- To the right of Organization enter the name of the organization, if applicable, for which this is a job posting
- To the right of Email enter an email address that the student can use to inquire about this job
- To the right of Telephone enter a telephone number that the student can use to inquire about this job
- To the right of Address enter the postal address of the contact person(s) for this job
- Click Save New Page in the Edit Console
- Enter a name for this posting in the Nametext box.
- Enter a display name for this posting in the Display Nametext box. The Display Nameof the posting should be the job title
- Click Approve in the Edit Console
Step 3: Finishing
- Click Log Off in the Edit Console
- Close Internet Explorer
