Creating an Off Campus Job Posting

Step 1: Navigating to the Location of the Posting

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Go to the Off Campus Jobs channel 
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Log On
  4. Enter your username and password and click Logon

Step 2: Adding a Job Description Posting

  1. If you are viewing a specially formatted list of Off Campus Job Descriptions, click Create New Page in the Edit Console and go to step 6.
  2. Click Create New Page (Choose Template) in the Edit Console
  3. Expand 0506 Templates
  4. Click SEO 
  5. Click the Select icon to the right of Off Campus Job Posting
  6. Check the check box to the right of Work Study if this position qualifies for Work Study funding
  7. Enter a description of the hours for this job in the Hours text box
  8. Enter the wage for the job in the Wagetext box
  9. Enter a detailed description of the job in the Job Descriptionedit window
  10. Enter a detailed list of qualifications in the Qualificationsedit window
  11. Under contact information:
    1. To the right of Name enter the full name of the person the student should contact about this job
    2. To the right of Organization enter the name of the organization, if applicable, for which this is a job posting
    3. To the right of Email enter an email address that the student can use to inquire about this job
    4. To the right of Telephone enter a telephone number that the student can use to inquire about this job
    5. To the right of Address enter the postal address of the contact person(s) for this job
  12. Click Save New Page in the Edit Console
  13. Enter a name for this posting in the Nametext box.
  14. Enter a display name for this posting in the Display Nametext box. The Display Nameof the posting should be the job title 
  15. Click Approve in the Edit Console

Step 3: Finishing

  1. Click Log Off in the Edit Console
  2. Close Internet Explorer
