Templates & Rendering Scripts

  • Photo Galleries are now based on a template instead of a script/custom property applied to a channel, making it much easier to manage large galleries.
  • The FAQ rendering script automatically generates a named-anchor list of the questions at the top of each page.It will also display a default posting above the generated list of questions, if one exists.
  • Sub-sites can now have "rotating" Top Left Nav and Top Right Nav images! Yes, we heard you!
  • Sub-sites can now have their very own News Posting module for hot items and announcements.
  • The famous List Channels & Postings Rendering Script is full of new features!
    - The new script defaults to an alpha sort, yet it can also be set to sort by Posting Start Date, or even be manually overridden to sort using the Edit Console's sort order.
    - The script will display a blurb from a Redirect w/ Blurb posting.
    - The number of columns that the list should be formatted in can be specified using a custom property.
  • Several areas of the College's site will be piloting the Content Feeds module, which allows for users to "subscribe" to a channel's content. Many of you may recognize this as RSS.
  • Several helpful modifications to the Redirect w/ Blurb template have been made.
  • Finally, there are upgraded 'Contact Us' and 'Sortable' rendering scripts for use by any sub-site.
