Starting a Literature Review:
A lilterature review informs you about work already done in your field of study.
Start by looking for promising titles in bibliographies and notes from key books and articles you already have. Note terminology and prominent writers in the field.
Looking for review articles?
Search indexes to find review articles in scholarly journals, or search the Annual Review series (search Print & EJournals A-Z) - Annual Review of Anthropology
- Annual Review of Sociology

Concerned about keeping track of your research?
Manage your findings by storing citations in your own RefWorks database. (go/refworks) RefWorks Help & Supporting Documents: (go/refworks?midd)
Be sure to review bibliographies and notes created by RefWorks. It saves you time inputting data, but is NOT foolproof!
