There are many web sites that aggregate links to web-based resources. Here are some general and specialized internet gateways and search engines.

Internet Gateways

You can find excellent gateway sites hosted by colleges and universities, such as the Stanford Chemistry Library's General Guide for Chemists and Chemical Engineers, the Indiana University CHEMINFO's Selected Internet Resources for Chemistry (SIRCh), and the Information Resources for : Chemistry from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Professional societies, such as the American Chemical Society and the Chemistry Societies Network offer information and links.
