Eric Database

Educator's Reference desk includes a link to the Eric Database. The ERICdatabase is produced by the U.S. government-sponsored Educational Resources Information Center. It indexes and abstracts articles from over 800 education-related journals and more than 10,000 reports, conference proceedings, and curricular materials. The ERIC database from 1966 through the present is available through Syracuse University.

Handbook of Latin American Studies

HLASis an annotated subject bibliography of publications in the humanities and social sciences. Available through LOCIS, the Library of Congress Information System.

Hispanic American Periodicals Index

MLA Bibliography

Produced by the Modern Language Association, the MLA Bibliographyindexes critical materials on literature, languages, and folklore, including traditional music and dance. The database provides access to citations from over 4,000 journals and series published worldwide, as well as monographs, proceedings, and dissertations. Online access to the MLA Bibliography is from 1963 to the present, although some services only cover from 1981.

The American Bibliography of Slavic and East European Studies(ABSEES) has been compiled continuously since 1956 under the auspices of the American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies The bibliography is currently based at the University Library of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
